Information for Presenters (posters and talks)

Information for poster presenters

Poster boards with magnetic pins will be available for poster presenters during the three poster sessions of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon – approximately 2pm-4pm.

The size of the board is 192×127.5cm (height/width), which accommodates a poster of A0 size in a portrait (vertical) format.

Presenters are kindly asked to put up their poster during the lunch break before their respective session, and take it down at the end of the session.

Note: presenters are kindly discouraged to put up posters as a combination of smaller (e.g. A4 size) prints. Although we recognize the convenience of that option, that would quickly result in a shortage of magnetic pins…

Information for Speakers (Oral and Invited talks)

The duration of the talks is 22+3 minutes for Orals (talk+questions) and 30+5 for Invited.

A lectern and PC will be available to the speakers for their talk.

The microphones at the lectern have a relatively limited range. Please ask the session Chairperson for a hand-held microphone if you suspect that you might be wandering across the stage – and away from the lectern -during your talk!

Oral and Invited talk presenters are kindly asked to make their talk available to the technical staff well in advance of their session. Two daily “pre-check” sessions will be organized before the morning and afternoon sessions to make sure that slides show up correctly. This is especially important if you have videos and/or animations embedded in your talk. More information will be shared with the speakers ahead of their session.

Note: no personal laptops will be allowed! The Beaulieu technical staff will be there to help. Please let them help you!
