The purpose of the 19th Technical Meeting on Energetic Particles in Magnetic Confinement Systems is to discuss the status of experimental and theoretical work on suprathermal electrons and ions in a variety of magnetic confinement geometries.

The EP-TM meeting will be followed by the fall meeting of ITPEA-EP Members and Expert.

    • Note that payment for the registration is part of the registration process!

    • Please note that the Saferpay payment system requires payment to be completed within 15 minutes of initiating the registration.

      • If the payment is not completed within this timeframe, the registration session expires and the registration process must be started again.

      • If payment by credit card is not possible due to your organization’s internal procedures, please let us know. We will be happy to explore alternative payment options with you.

  • Abstract submission for the EP-TM meeting, through the ITER INDICO website
  • Abstract submission for the ITPEA-EP meeting is managed by ITPEA-EP Chair and Deputy. Please see Call for Abstracts and Contributions from the 36th ITPEA-EP website.

Important dates

  • Local registration opens: April 2026
    • Local registration closes August 15th, 2026
  • INDICO abstract submission, final submission deadline: August 15th 2026
    • Abstracts received before the original deadline of June 5th will be considered for orals/invited.
    • Abstracts received after June 5th will only be considered for Poster contributions.
  • Selection of invited and oral presentations: end of June 2026

 

Publication associated with the EP Technical Meeting

As for previous editions of the meeting, the Organizers are exploring the possibility to collect papers from the meeting in a Special Issue of refereed journal articles. The target journals are Nuclear Fusion or Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion (subject to approval by the Editorial Board).
